today singapore lost a legend. after more than a year of exile on the isle of singapore (prefaced by a ~2 year stint in the savage-lands of cincinnati, OH), alexander clapper has now departed our shores, homeward bound for the isles of britain, never to return again to the asian continent (i'm actually not sure if they'll have him). alex is living the ex-pat dream, and accelerating shareholder value (though i won't say in which direction, but by his luggage bill, you can guess :). have a safe trip home man (and goto geneva)!

and, alex? thanks for the parting gifts (seen below). we'll be holding a party in your memory sometime soon (thanksgiving). "the clapper" certainly knows how to take "duty free" purchasing to a whole different level...
