it's a zoo out there!

this past weekend we took it easy and stayed local, opting to head up north to the infamous singapore zoo (at the strong reco of my visiting manager mandy, who grew up here).

quite possibly the coolest zoo in the world.

on banks of the island's main resorvoir, the singapore zoo makes you feel like you're on an island (cue jurassic park music). with few exceptions, NONE of the animals are in cages, rather they are separated from the main path via a deep moat. so you can get really close. anywho, 2 albums worth of photos (just click the pic above to be taken the first, and the one below to be taken to the second), which can do most of the talking...
