and yet somehow, 19 years later, the Joker still steals the show, albeit in a much more eerie and disturbing form.

i'd give it an 8.8/10. will see it again tho.
forgot that it even WAS heath ledger during, which shows how amazing his performance was. afterwards, tho, and even the next morning, i was depressed at his passing - very sad - def casts a pall over the experience.
saw it in NY sat midnight show. i, along w/ a number of random prognosticators, had predicted it'd beat SM 3. and this was cemented when one of the guys w/ whom i saw the flick was seeing it for the 3rd time - that's right - the sat show. i remarked that for the last two days he had more batman viewings than bowel movements.
