in heaven...

so today took a half day, and took the bus/train/subway into the city to check out the NY Comic Con. surprisingly enough, this was my FIRST comic book convention.

the main reason i went was to meet the creator of my (current) favorite comic book, get the newest volume, and maybe even meet the author. mission accomplished. he even did a sketch for me (above).

i stocked up on quite a few graphic novels (half-off!)...pretty much until i couldn't carry any more...
